H.M.S. Violet was one of 40 destroyers of the "C" class.

Career

She served in the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla from the start of war until September 1917 when she went to join the Nore Defence Flotilla.[8]

In April 1918 she was reassigned to the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Dover Patrol, remaining there for the duration of the war.[9]
