H.M.S. Vesper was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
Vesper was re-commissioned on 25 August, 1920.[5]
Vesper was re-commissioned at Chatham on 15 August, 1924.[6]
Paid off 11 August, 1927.[7]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 21 November, 1930, to be appointed under the command of Alfred Jerome Lucian Phillips the following day for work with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla with the Atlantic Fleet.[8]
