H.M.S. Valerian was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Valerian re-commissioned at Bermuda on 27 February, 1923 for service on the North America and West Indies Station.[6]

The ship served continuously in the Caribbean between December 1923 and February, 1925.

She re-commissioned at Bermuda on 22 July, 1925.[7]
