H.M.S. Tyrian was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending. She was completed after the war.

Service

Tyrian commissioned on 15 December, 1919 under the command of Lieutenant-Commander Butter.[7]

She reduced to Reserve Complement on 8 November, 1921.[8]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 29 April, 1927.[9]
