H.M.S. Truculent was one of sixty-two "R" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1916-17.

Service

Truculent reduced to Reserve Complement at Portsmouth on 31 August, 1920.[8]

Following an earlier round of a flotilla leader and seventeen destroyers, Truculent was named in September 1925 as one of an additional fifteen destroyers to be scrapped in the fiscal year starting 1 April, 1926.[9]
