H.M.S. Trinidad was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

Trinidad was re-commissioned at Malta on 9 December, 1920.[6]

She re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 21 September, 1923. By March 1925, she was attached to the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla of the Atlantic Fleet.[7]

The ship was reduced to Reserve at Portsmouth on 21 December, 1925.[8]

She paid off into Rosyth Maintenance Reserve on 6 October, 1927.[9]

The destroyer completed to special complement at Chatham on 23 April, 1929.[10]
