H.M.S. Teutonic was a commercial liner converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy.

Service

She commissioned at Liverpool on 12 September 1914.[8]

In October, she joined Cruiser Force B, later called the Tenth Cruiser Squadron. When it split into three divisions in August, 1915, she was assigned to the First Division.

In January, 1916, Teutonic became the lead ship of the Second Division of the Tenth Cruiser Squadron, moving over after former leader Cedric decommissioned for use as a troop ship.
