H.M.S. Sirdar was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

Joined the Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla upon completion.

In February 1919, made a part of the new Seventh Destroyer Flotilla.

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth with 2/5ths crew on 4 December, 1923, Sirdar was with the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla of the Atlantic Fleet by March of 1925.[6]

From at least January, 1928 through at least early 1929, she was part of the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla on the China Station.[7]

Re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 1 October, 1929 for service with the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla.[8]
