H.M.S. Shark was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

There were two other destroyers named Shark in the Dreadnought era, the Shark of 1894 and the Shark of 1912.

Service

Shark recommissioned at Chatham on 27 May, 1919 under Commander Carter, who would remain in command at least through the end of 1920.[6]
