H.M.S. Seafire was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

Seafire was reduced to Reserve Fleet at Devonport on 14 August, 1920.[6]

She was commissioned on 6 October, 1927.[7] In early 1933, she was in the Maintenance Reserve at Rosyth.[8]
