H.M.S. Restless was one of 62 destroyers of the "R" class.

Service

Restless was assigned to the Grand Fleet's Fifteenth Destroyer Flotilla in November, 1916, as it was just reaching a useful strength.[8] She was loaned to the Second Destroyer Flotilla for August through October, 1917 but returned to the Fifteenth Destroyer Flotilla.

In February, 1919 she moved to the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.

She re-commissioned with reduced complement on 30 October, 1919.[9]
