H.M.S. Redpole was one of nine gunboats of the Redbreast class completed for the Royal Navy around 1890.

Service

Commissioned at Devonport on 20 November, 1889 under Lieutenant & Commander Frederick H. P. W. Freeman.[3]

In 1902, she was relieved on the China Station by the Mutine.[4]
