H.M.S. Orwell was one of twenty-four "B" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy — a "30 knotter".

Service

In mid-1913, active with the Seventh Destroyer Flotilla.[8]

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

Some Lieutenant & Commander "John W. Pugh" was appointed on 21 November, 1906, but I cannot determine exactly what his full name is.[27]
