H.M.S. Nymphe was one of six Amazon Class wooden screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Construction & Service

Nymphe displaced 1,084 tons and had 300 H.P. three-cylinder engines which propelled her at 13.066 at full power and 10.447 knots at half power during her trials in Stokes Bay on 29 July, 1867.[4]
