H.M.S. Mauretania was a commercial liner twice converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy.

Lusitania was her sister.

Service

Her first stint as an A.M.C. ended in 1914. She was armed a second time in January 1918 and served into 1919.[8]
