H.M.S. Lusitania was a commercial liner, R.M.S. Lusitania which was to be converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy, but it appears that she never functioned in this role, as she reverted to civilian use before being armed and was later infamously torpedoed south of Ireland.
