H.M.S. Ladybird was one of twelve gunboats of the "Insect" class.

Service

Ladybird re-commissioned on 1 July 1920.[6]

The gunboat was paid off to C. & M. Party at Malta on 17 April, 1922.[7]

She commissioned at Malta on 29 January, 1927. She was attached to the China Station from at least mid-1927[8] until at least mid-1937.[9]
