H.M.S. J 7 was one of seven submarines of the "J" class.

Service

After the war, J 7 was transferred to the Royal Australian Navy, becoming H.M.A.S. J 7.

She and the other five surviving "J" class boats were commissioned in the Royal Australian Navy at Portsmouth on 25 March, 1919.[6]

All six paid off into reserve on 12 July, 1922 at Westernport.[7]
