H.M.S. H 43 was one of forty-four "H" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy in the 1910s.

Service

At the end of 1922, she was the sole "H" class boat in reserve group "G" at Portland.^[6]

In March, 1925 she and H 26 and H 33 comprised Group "F" Submarines in Reserve at Portland under the command of Lieutenant George C. P. Menzies.^[7]
