H.M.S. Gipsy was one of forty destroyers of the "C" class — a "30 knotter".

Service

In mid-1913, she was with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla.[8]

With the assistance of some drifters, she sank the U 48 by gunfire off Goodwin Sands on 24 November, 1917.[9]
