H.M.S. Fisgard (Training Ship)

H.M.S. Fisgard was a mechanics' training establishment situated in Woolwich.

It operated from the mid-1800s and encompassed a number of changing hulk vessels. It moved to Chatham in 1931.

Dates of appointment given:

Commander George Plunkett England was appointed here on 15 April, 1914 until 30 August, 1914, but it is not clear whether he was in command.[6]
