Service

As part of the Channel Fleet, Dominion started a refit in Portsmouth on 7 April 1908. She was to have magazine cooling equipment fitted, which was supposed to take 10 weeks.[8]

She commenced an annual refit on 4 May, 1912 and finished it on 22 September, 1912.[Citation needed]

Dominion was assigned to the Third Battle Squadron upon its creation in May, 1912 and remained with the Squadron until becoming the last pre-dreadnought to be detached in April, 1918.[9] She became an accommodation ship in Chatham-Sheerness that same month.[10] She kept laying out the welcome until April, 1919.[11] In May, she fell off the Navy List.[12]
