H.M.S. Cedric was a commercial liner, R.M.S. Cedric converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy.
Service
She commissioned on either 17 November[9] or 4 December, 1914[10]
In 1916, she became a troop ship.

As an A.M.C., Cedric was armed with:[11]

- two 6-pdrs
