Re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 18 February, 1890.[6]
The ship was reduced to a hulk in 1897. In April, 1908 she was renamed Ganges and became a training ship. She was again renamed, as Powerful III in September 1913 and finally became Impregnable IV in November of 1919.
