Launch
Canada was launched as Almirante Latorre on 27 November, 1913 by Mme. Edwards, wife of the Chilean Minister.

Main Battery
Canada was fitted with 2 tripod-type directors, one in an armoured tower and one in a light aloft tower[1]. It is likely that B turret had a directing gun in its right position.
Secondary Battery
Her 6-in guns were supported by a pair of pedestal-mounted directors, probably situated ton port and starboard[2].

Canada had a Mark IV* Dreyer table[3], and no Dreyer Turret Control Tables[4].
