H.M.S. Boreas was one of nine "B" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 9 June, 1931 for duty with the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean[1] that would extend until at least mid 1934.[2]

Re-commissioned 18 October, 1933.[3]

Re-commsissioned at Portsmouth on 21 September, 1936.[4]
