H.M.S. Berberis was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

In 1917, she collided with S.S. Kingstonian, resulting in a caution being issued her Sub-Lt. Hubert G. D. Merrett.[6]
