H.M.S. Beagle was one of sixteen destroyers of the Beagle class.
Service
In July 1913 she was serving with the Third Destroyer Flotilla.[7]
Commander Harry R. Godfrey commanded her when she covered the landings at Anzac Cove at Gallipoli.[8]
At Suvla Bay on 6-7 August, 1915, Beagle worked with five of her sisters and Arno to tow troop barges in. A similar effort with a smaller force placed its troops in the wrong position.[9]
