Service
In 1938, her Apollo bells, no longer needed in her Australian guise, were two of a number ships' bells the Royal Navy offered for sale to officers and others interested. The larger commanded a price of between £10 and the smaller £5, plus packing and shipping. Interested parties were to apply to win one at its stated price, stating any special attachment or claim they had to the item(s) applied for.[5]
