H.M.A.S. Canberra was one of seven Kent Class cruisers completed for the Royal Australian Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Clydebank on 9 July, 1928.[6] In mid-1931 she was bearing Commodore, First Class Leonard Stanley Holbrook, Commanding H.M. Australian Squadron.

She re-commissioned at Sydney on 1 January, 1932.[7]
