Captain Godfrey Herbert, D.S.O. (28 February, 1884 – 8 August, 1961) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Herbert was appointed in command of the submarine C 30 on June, 1913.[1]
On 25 March, 1914, Herbert was appointed in command of the submarine D 5.[2]
On 29 January, 1917, he was in command of K 13 when she sank on a test dive. He was able to escape from the submarine.
