Gilbert Hugh Nowell

Lieutenant-Commander Gilbert Hugh Nowell, (11 November, 1905 – 16 July, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Nowell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1928.

Nowell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1936.

World War II

Nowell died when Phoenix was lost under his command.
