Vice-Admiral (retired) Gerald Maxwell Bradshaw Langley, C.B., O.B.E. (14 December, 1895 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Langley joined the navy as part of a special emergency term taken into the Training Establishment in September 1914.

Langley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1918.

Langley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1926.

Langley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1931.

Langley was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1936.

Langley was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 2 January, 1946.

Langley was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Vice-Admiral on 22 June, 1949.
