George Robert Mansell

Vice-Admiral (retired) George Robert Mansell, K.C.V.O., C.B.E., M.V.O., R.N. (18 February, 1868 – 26 April, 1936) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of R.N. officer George Hope Mansell.
Mansell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 January, 1891.
Mansell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 26 June, 1902.
Mansell was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1907.
Retired at his own request on 23 March, 1912, Mansell was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 1 October, 1918 and then to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 19 July, 1924.
