Vice-Admiral Frederick Parland Loder-Symonds, C.M.G., Royal Navy, Retired (14 May, 1876 – 24 November, 1952) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
Born in Kumpta, India, Loder-Symonds gained seven months' time on passing out of Britannia. His first appointment was in Sans Pareil in the Mediterranean, dated 9 February, 1892.[1]
He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1898.[2]
Loder-Symonds was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1909.[3]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Achates on 20 March, 1913.[4] He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1914.[5]
In the Birthday Honours of 4 June, 1917, Loder-Symonds was appointed a Companion in the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George (C.M.G.) for his war services.[6]
Loder-Symonds was appointed in command of the light cruiser Dauntless on 16 October, 1918.[7]
Post-War
He commanded Emperor of India from May 1924 until October 1925.
Loder-Symonds was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 March, 1926 and placed on the Retired List on 2 March.[8]
On 15 May, 1930, Loder-Symonds was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List.[9]
