Captain Frederick Livington Campbell (20 July, 1854 – 25 January, 1906) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Campbell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 13 October, 1876.[1]

He was appointed to Vernon on 16 June, 1884 as a torpedo Lieutenant.[2]

Campbell was appointed in command of the T.B. 22 on 18 March, 1886.[3]

Campbell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1890.[4]

He was appointed to command of the torpedo ram Polyphemus on 27 October, 1892.[5]

Campbell was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser King Alfred on 21 July, 1903.[6]

He was appointed as captain of battleship Prince George in September, 1903.

On 25 January, 1906, while hunting on leave at his cousin's, he fell from his horse and broke his neck, dying instantly.
