Frederick Dundas Gilpin-Brown

Admiral Frederick Dundas Gilpin-Brown, C.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (12 April, 1866 – 9 February, 1934) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was appointed to command the battleship Jupiter on 17 November, 1909.[1]
He was appointed to command the battleship New Zealand (later renamed Zealandia) on 24 July, 1911.[2]
He was appointed to command the armoured cruiser Black Prince on 10 April, 1913.[3]
Gilpin-Brown was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 2 January, 1919.[4]
He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 31 July, 1924,[5] and advanced to Admiral on the Retired List on 22 February, 1928.[6]
