Frederic Graham Schurr
Captain Frederic Graham Schurr (30 August, 1886 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
His first name is spelled "Frederick" in some Navy Lists.
Life & Career
Born in Twickenham.
Schurr was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 28 February, 1907.[1]
Great War
Schurr was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 28 February, 1915.[2]
Schurr was appointed in command of the destroyer Wear on 18 January, 1912.[3]
Schurr was appointed in command of the destroyer Eden on 1 April, 1913.[4]
On 11 July, 1913, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Swale.[5]
Schurr was appointed in command of the destroyer Sabre on 28 October, 1918.[6]
Post-War
Schurr was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1918.[7]
Schurr was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 30 August, 1932.[8]
