Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. Frank Lionel Tongue, R.D., R.N.R. (16 November, 1885 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Tongue was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 3 August, 1914. He served in the pre-dreadnought Duncan from July 1915 to April 1917, and was first officer in Doon from June to October, 1917.[1]

Tongue was appointed in command of the gunboat Moth on 2 May, 1918.[2]

Tongue was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 3 August, 1922. He was removed from the List on 8 December, 1926.[3]
