Commander R.N.R. (retired) Frank Ernest Woodward, R.D., R.N.R. (11 April, 1883 – before September, 1952) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Born in Edgbaston, Warwick.
Woodward was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 20 July, 1915.
Woodward was appointed in command of the patrol boat PC 62 on 22 March, 1918.[1]
Woodward was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 20 July, 1923.
Woodward was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 11 April, 1928. That same year, he was listed as living in Lagos, Nigeria.
Woodward was reported as deceased in September 1952, but the date of death was not reported.
