Admiral SIR Francis William Sullivan, Sixth Baronet, K.C.B., C.M.G., Royal Navy (31 May, 1834 – 13 May, 1906) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sullivan was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Third Class, or Companion, of the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 25 February, 1864.[1]

Sullivan was appointed a Naval Aide-de-Camp to Queen Victoria dated 1 January, 1877, vice Lord Gilford.[2]

He was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Military Division of the Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 27 November, 1879.[3]

Sullivan's appointment in command of the Detached Squadron for Particular Service was dated 6 December, 1881.[4]

Sullivan was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 5 August, 1890, vice Lethbridge.[5]
