Lieutenant Francis Elam Haigh, (20 May, 1848 – 25 October, 1902) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Haigh was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 2 September, 1872.

He was superseded in command of Banterer in 1885 owing to illness. Sir John Reid at M.D.G. diagnosed him as suffering from epileptic seizures due to use of stimulants.

Haigh retired at his own request on 26 September, 1889.
