Francis Alexander Clutterbuck

Captain Francis Alexander Clutterbuck, D.S.O. (26 January, 1878 – ?) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Clutterbuck was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1900.

Clutterbuck was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1913.

As a Commander, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Quail on 30 January, 1914.

Clutterbuck was promoted to Captain on 30 June, 1918.

He was appointed as captain of the light cruiser Leander on 15 July, 1918.

Post-War

Clutterbuck was appointed in command of the Colossus on 14 July, 1920.

He was placed on the Retired List on 4 July, 1922. Clutterbuck offered his services in 1939.
