Commander Fitzmaurice Acton, C.M.G., Royal Navy (22 February, 1874 – 7 August, 1920) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

On 30 June, 1908, Acton was promoted to the rank of Commander.[1] He was an interpreter and appointed an Inspecting Officer in the Coast Guard on 5 January, 1912.[2]

On 7 May, 1910, Acton married Ruby Crabtree, the widow of Lieutenant Percy Crabtree, in Shanghai.[3]

Acton died on 7 August, 1920. His death was announced by the Secretary of the Admiralty on 12 August.[4]
