Captain (retired) Edward Owen Tudor, D.S.O. (1 July, 1882 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Tudor passed out of Britannia in December, 1897 ranked twenty-sixth of the sixty-four cadets who passed out, with 1582 marks.[1]

Tudor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1903.

Tudor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1911.

Tudor was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1917.

Post-War

Tudor was appointed in command of the destroyer Speedy in March, 1920.[2]

Tudor was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 15 November, 1922.

Tudor was promoted to the rank of Captain on the Retired List on 1 July, 1927.

World War II

Tudor was reverted to the Retired List on 27 January, 1947.
