Edward McConnell Wyndham Lawrie ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Lawrie was appointed in command of the destroyer Ruby on 25 January, 1912.[1]
Lawrie commanded the destroyer Mandate when she operated with the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[2]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Wrestler on 16 April, 1918.[3]
On 12 February, 1920, Lawrie was appointed in command of the destroyer Witherington.[4]
Lawrie was appointed in command of the light cruiser Comus in April, 1927.[5]
