Vice-Admiral Edward Henry Howard, (7 June, 1832 – 18 January, 1890) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Howard was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 January, 1853.

Howard was promoted to the rank of Commander on 7 May, 1857.

Howard was promoted to the rank of Captain on 16 February, 1864.

Howard was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 April, 1881.

Howard was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 1 May, 1884.

Howard was placed on the Retired List owing to non-service dated 29 November 1889.
