Edward Heath Dauglish

Lieutenant Edward Heath Dauglish ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Indian Marine before transferring into the Royal Navy. His single Service Record has him sharing a page with a good many other R.I.M. men given temporary commissions.

Life & Career

Dauglish was granted a temporary commission in the R.N. at the rank of Lieutenant upon transferring in on 19 May 1915. He was placed in command of a ship named H.M.S. Enterprise.[1]

He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 11 May, 1916.[2]

Dauglish was appointed in command of the destroyer Sandfly on 20 March, 1918.[3] His temporary commission in the R.N. was terminated on 17 April, 1919.[4]
