Commander (retired) Edward Harvey, R.N. (4 July, 1858 – 19 December, 1938) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Harvey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1882.

Harvey left an appointment in Orion and suffered a disease of the ears from 17 December 1890 to 18 May 1891.

Harvey was retired with the rank of Commander on 10 July of either 1901 or 1905 (hard to read).

In the Great War, Harvey worked as an Assistant Inspector on the Inspection Staff at Woolwich Arsenal. He was demobilised from this posting on 8 March, 1919.
