Rear-Admiral SIR Edward Fitzmaurice Inglefield, K.B.E., Royal Navy, Retired (10 April, 1861 – 19 July, 1945) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Edward Fitzmaurice was born on 10 April, 1861, the youngest son of Admiral Sir Edward Augustus Inglefield, commander of the Arctic relief expedition of 1853.

Inglefield was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1895, aged thirty-four years, two months, and twenty days.[1]
